You know, the Farmer
John Peters used to be a happy man. Farming was his life, and damn it all if he didn’t love it. That is until his wife’s sisters fell upon hard times when the family matriarch booted them out. Mary Peters, John’s beloved wife, was all too quick to let the old crones move in. John wanted none of it but he loved his wife greatly and couldn’t say no.
After a year of living with the two new women, life had taken a turn for the worse. It seems that they had been thrown out of the house for witchcraft. Now John didn’t have “nothin against no’un” as he used to say, but the gals never sat right with him.
Soon after the first crop John brought in of the new year, he found Mary had begun to throw her lot in with the witches.
One night as John was caught watching their procedings, the women had set upon him. In a blind rage, John had managed to kill all three. He wept for two days, holding Mary in his arms until Dana found him.
After a brief trial and John admitting guilt, he was placed in the light house as a prisoner. When Draksban took over as Sheriff of Knights Valley, he had his priest convert the three women as ghouls and had them locked in the food storage of the lighthouse to further the punishment for John Peters.
When the adventurer’s arrived and he saw his opportunity at freedom, he sent them downstairs to activate the lighthouse. When the elf wouldn’t go down stairs, he clubbed the pointy eared wizard and made for the door. After a few hours of brief freedom on the lamb he was caught by the adventurer’s, briefly interrogated, and then executed, his body being flung into the side of a Mesa.
